SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Two Sioux Falls men are facing a long list of charges, including child endangerment, after the Nebraska State Patrol stopped a stolen vehicle on Highway 83 near Thedford, Nebraska, on Monday.

Marquise Spotted Eagle, 20, and Datavion Taylor, 23, face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a stolen firearm, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, aiding and abetting, child endangerment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

According to authorities, a traffic stop led troopers to find a missing 13-year-old girl from South Dakota. Authorities also said the men had stolen a vehicle in Sioux Falls that contained a rifle.

Authorities in Colorado responded to a welfare check in Ault, Colorado, on Monday morning where a young girl was assaulted with a rifle and she told police the men still had her friend without consent.

Both girls were found safe. Authorities in Colorado and South Dakota may have additional charges and are working on the investigation.
