INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after one person was shot on the city’s north side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the 9200 block of Ascot Circle around 7:01 a.m. on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they found one individual suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition. Officers have a suspect detained.
