INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that fatally injured a person early Monday morning.
According to IMPD, just before 12:30 a.m. officers received a report of a person shot in the 1400 block of Nelson Ave.
Officers located a victim and transported them to the hospital in critical condition where they later died.
IMPD has not given details about what led up to the shooting or information on the victim or suspect.
