SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The names have been released in a deadly Ranger vs pickup crash Wednesday near Sturgis, South Dakota.
In a press release, the South Dakota Highway Patrol said that an 80-year-old woman died from her injuries.
William Jeffery Westberg, 20, the driver of a 1999 Dodge Ram, was traveling north on Avalanch Road. Lynn E. Gray, the driver of the Polaris Ranger, was on a private drive and attempted a left turn in front of the Dodge.
The Dodge collided with the Ranger, ejecting Gray, who died. Westberg received no injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate this crash.
