SULPHUR SPRINGS, Ind. — Authorities are investigating after a small plane crash in Henry County has claimed one life.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, the plane crashed just east of Sulphur Springs near U.S. 36 and North County Road 200 West on Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff’s department said the crash occurred on a private landing strip behind Roberts Pipeline Inc.
At this time, only a single death has been reported.
This deadly plane crash comes on the heels of a recent plane crash in Anderson that claimed four lives.
Indiana State Police will take the lead on the investigation.
