INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after one person was fatally shot on the city’s near northwest side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Skylar Lane around 7:17 a.m. on a report of a person shot. When they arrived, they found one person with gunshot wounds in the residence.
The victim was reported to be deceased on the scene.
