SPEEDWAY, Ind. – A crash in Speedway left a person dead Saturday night, police say.
According to the Speedway Police Department, at 11:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of West 25th Street and North High School Road on the report of a property damage accident.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a male victim inside of a black Hyundai Elantra. Officers removed the individual from the vehicle and attempted to provide aid to him until medics arrived on scene. That individual was pronounced deceased on scene, according to police.
Detectives are still working to determine the identify the driver of the vehicle. No additional information was released.
The incident remains under investigation.
